RADCO is proud to be a long time supporter and supplier of professional technical services to the Recreational Vehicle (RV) and Recreational Park Trailer (RPT) Industries. Founded in 1967 RADCO is a professional firm which has maintained its original emphasis of service to the client. Headquartered in Long Beach, California RADCO has branch offices in Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, and Arizona. In addition, RADCO has field representatives in 20 states and Canada. Wherever your facilities are located we have experienced and qualified staff near by to service your needs. Our staff includes 13 graduate (bachelors and masters) engineers with professional registrations in 37 states (Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Industrial, Electrical and Quality).
Nationally recognized as a design review and inspection agency for all types of factory built structures RADCO is fully approved by all third party RV and RPT code states. RADCO supports the RVIA and the RPTIA and is fully approved as a third party inspection agency for RPT under the RPTIA certification/inspection program.
RADCO also offers a design submittal CAD drafting service for all code states and Canada. Our experts have first hand knowledge of the requirements in all locations. (Not available if RADCO provides state recognized third party design review for your facility).
As a Testing Laboratory, Listing Agency and/or Quality Assurance/Inspection Agency, RADCO is recognized both nationally and internationally. These approvals include: International Accreditation Service (IAS), Inspection Agency - AA-650, Testing Laboratory - TL-209.
One way we have found to support and benefit our industry is to utilize our professional expertise on standards writing committees. RADCO donates hundreds of hours of professional time and thousands of dollars in expenses each year to serve on the following committees which directly impact the RV and RPT industries.
1. NFPA National Electrical Code Panel 19 which writes NEC Articles 551 Recreational Vehicles and Recreational Vehicle Parks and NEC Article 552 Park Trailers.
2. ANSI A119.5 Recreational Park Trailers.
3. ANSI A119.2 / NFPA 501C Recreational Vehicles.
4. ANSI / RVIA EGS-1 Engine Generator Sets.
